Overview

Momentum ("the App") is a routine app developed by NorseCode ("we", "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles data.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. The App does not require an account, login, or internet connection. Specifically:

• No personal information: We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any identifying information. The optional name you can enter in Settings is used only to greet you and never leaves your device.
• No analytics or tracking: The App contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, and no third-party trackers.
• No location data: The App does not access your location.
• No network communication: The App itself does not send any data to any server. It works entirely offline.

Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:

• Routines, their steps, timers, schedules, and reminder times
• Your run history (which steps were done or skipped, and when), from which momentum is calculated
• App preferences (theme, display name, notification settings)

A small summary (today's routine name and completion state, and your momentum count) is shared with the App's own widget through an App Group container on your device so the widget can display it. This data never leaves your device. It is included in your device backups (iCloud or local) as part of the standard iOS backup process, but we do not have access to it.

Purchases

The App offers one optional in-app purchase, processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of purchase information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The App checks your purchase status locally through Apple's StoreKit framework.

Notifications

The App uses local notifications to remind you of a routine at a time you choose. These notifications are generated on your device and are not sent through any server. No notification data is collected by us.

Health Disclaimer

Momentum is a routine and habit tool built with ADHD brains in mind. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or manage any condition.

Children's Privacy

The App is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Since we collect no personal data, we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs that could collect data. There are no analytics, crash reporting, or advertising integrations.

Your Rights

Since we collect no data, there is no data to access, modify, or delete on our end. You have full control over your data on your device:

• You can delete all App data by deleting the App from your device.
• You can manage notification permissions in iOS Settings.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our data practices, we will update this page. Any changes will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date.
